Analía Marsella is a specialist in international and comparative law, fundamental rights, democracy, and sustainable development, as well as a professional linguist, with over 25 years of legal, linguistic, and business experience. She held positions in both the public and private sectors, including intergovernmental organizations and multinational Fortune 500 corporations and taught at prestigious academic institutions, such as Columbia University where she teaches as a Guest Lecturer of International Environmental Law. Analía is experienced in providing creative legal solutions, designing complex diplomatic missions, developing technical proposals and funding requests for public interest projects, launching and managing multi-million dollar projects and business lines, recruiting and training human resources, planning and implementing marketing campaigns, designing and conducting capacity building activities, and in providing prime quality language services.

Currently serving as IESD’s CEO and Director of Rule of Law, Fundamental Rights, and Global Governance, Analía had joined Transcarbon International, Architects of Sustainability, in 2011 as the Advisor on Public Interest initiatives and on the Latin American and the Caribbean region and later undertook the role of General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer. In that position, she redesigned Transcarbon’s original concept and corporate identity as a traditional for-profit company, radically transforming its organizational strategy and structure and turning it into a gender-balanced private organization serving public interest. …

Sébastien Raoux is a climate change, energy, and sustainable development expert with over 25 years of experience as an environmental scientist, a specialist in international environmental law, and an entrepreneur. As a Lead Author of the 2006 Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories, he has been distinguished for his substantial contribution to the work of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (UN-IPCC), which was co-awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize along with former Vice President Al Gore “for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change” (The Nobel Peace Prize 2007).

As a recognized researcher and innovator, Sébastien invented 24 patents, authored over 30 articles in technical journals, and developed 3 Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) methodologies for large-scale projects. Also, he spoke at more than 100 international conferences and lectured at prestigious universities, in addition to having provided consultancy services to Fortune 500 corporations, small and medium size enterprises, consulting firms, nonprofits, international organizations, development institutions, and governments in or about more than 50 countries in Europe, the Americas, the Asia-Pacific region, and Africa.
